After School Sport has become a big part of what we do, after staring our company and linking to the Australian Health and PE curriculum outcomes, we realised that many children were intersted in pursuing movement and dance in an after school, extra-curricular setting. So of course, we happily added our after school sport options! Including, hip-hop, acro and yoga!

Please note, we do not have a studio or club location as such. We aim to have our classes be a point of difference for families looking for a less rigid option for their child who may wish to try acro and dance without the pressures of a studio. 

What to expect:

  • Focus on fun, fitness and friendship 
  • Relaxed, recreational class means some structire without all the pressure!
  • Engaging group environment with a mix of games, dance choreography and skill building.
  • Talented, friendly instructors 
  • Easy as! No need to rush to a studio. We come to your school site, so parents can enjoy a later pick up time.

Acro

Acro is like gymnastics tricks meets dance!

 

Acro is short for Acrobatic Dance. Children will work on their strength and flexibility to learn some new tricks which can be included in their dance.

  • Learn some safe tricks/ skills
  • Put your tricks to use in a choreographed routine each term!
  • Children will have fun with freidns in a relaxed, no pressure environment.

Hip-hop

Hip-hop is a popular and easy to learn style of dance. 

 

We love to tailor our movements and music to each individual class, so you may hear us using popular music, your child's favourite song, or a Disney song! In any case, children will enjoy:

  • Fun, fitness and friendship focussed class.
  • Learning awesome new moves each term to put in our routine!
  • 'Performing' the routine for parents and the school community at the end of the term. 
 

Yoga

Yoga is a great way to start the day, or finish off the school day! That's why we offer yoga as either a before school, or after school activity. (Although, we know how hard mornings can be, so we reccomend running an afternoon activity ; )

Children can expect some, yoga games, music & poses to build, flexibility, strength and balance, and even some partner work or a fun 'animal safari'!
